Cookie Tiam is a home bakery inspired by traditional Singaporean food and culture. The goal was to create a minimalist yet distinctive brand identity that can be easily applied to various marketing materials, packaging, and signage. The project included logo design, font selection, color palette development & social media branding elements.
The Cookie Tiam logo features a clean and modern design with three stacked cookies as the primary visual element. This represents the bakery's core product while maintaining simplicity and recognizability.
The typography includes a well-balanced combination of fonts—one with a warm, handwritten feel for personality and another that is bold and legible for clarity.
The words "Cookie Tiam" are the main focus, with "Bakery" included below for better consumer recognition. Subtle banana leaf motifs and green tones are incorporated to reflect Singaporean influences.
During the design process, multiple logo variations were explored, each incorporating different visual elements to capture the essence of Cookie Tiam. The preferred styles included a combination of stacked cookies, banana leaf motifs, and clean typography.
Some designs with enclosed shapes and additional details were explored but ultimately set aside in favor of a cleaner, more minimalistic approach.
