SISTINE SERIES

The Sistine Series was a project that I started a few years ago. It began when I visited Vatican City with my family and saw the amazing artwork and architecture. The frescoes on the ceiling within the Sistine Chapel were what initially caught my eye and led me down this path of exploration. In particular it was The Creation of Adam and those famous hands painted by Michelangelo that fascinated me.

AND BECAME A DIVE INTO SURREAL ABSTRACT WORLDS THAT DECONSTRUCT COLOR, SHAPE, AND BIBLICAL ICONOGRAPHY INSPIRED GREATLY BY THE SISTINE CHAPEL.
